Each year at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, automakers roll out their biggest and best, and the Kia brand didn’t pull any punches at this year’s show. The company has been giving consumers glimpses of their upcoming three-row SUV, the Kia Telluride, for a while now. At the SEMA Show, Kia set up a “Torque Track” just outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. The track was a rough and rugged off-road proving ground complete with jumps, mountain climbs, and water incursions. Four modified Kia Telluride models took to the course to get drivers excited for the performance potential of the upcoming SUV.

We were already excited for the Kia Telluride after it appeared at New York Fashion Week earlier this year. Just what does New York Fashion Week have to do with automobiles? Not much—unless you’re the Kia brand. The automaker teamed with designer Brandon Maxwell to create a glamorous modified Kia Telluride.

So we’ve seen two modified versions of the Kia Telluride, and concept versions before that. Just when will we see the real deal? It won’t be long now. The SUV will make its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in January before going on sale here at Jake Sweeney Kia later in 2019.

If you just can’t wait until then to drive a high-performance Kia SUV, don’t worry. We’ve got plenty of top-of-the-line Kia SUVs for sale here at our dealership near Cincinnati, OH.
