As always, Kia Motors America is continuing to prove itself as a great family brand. Right now, a program to help teens and parents with responsible driving habits is being expanded into the Midwest. At Jake Sweeney Kia, we have all the details you need, as well as the Kia service we know you love.

As Kentucky car dealers, we believe driving safely is so important, especially for teens. BRAKES (Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe) and Kia Motors America are offering a number of free defensive driving classes using the Kia Soul, Kia Forte, and Kia Rio for hands-on instruction. The main goal is to reduce the high rate of teens involved in motor vehicle accidents.

According to a Kia news release, teens who graduate from BRAKES are 64 percent less likely to be in a crash in their first three years of driving. BRAKES has provided training for more than 30,000 teens and their parents already since the program was founded in 2008.

“Kia is committed to safer driving and a key component is practical, hands-on advanced education to equip drivers with the knowledge and experience needed for dealing with real-life driving situations,” said Saad Chehab, vice president, Marketing Communications, Kia Motors America.

Among the many classes scheduled for this fall, several of them will be taking place in Ohio. If you’re in the Cincinnati area, you can register for November 10 and 11. Those closer to Cleveland can take advantage of the Nov. 17 and 18 dates. (View the full schedule or register here:
