The new Kia Soul is here, and our auto experts are excited to go over the many safety features packed inside. At Jake Sweeney Kia, you can always expect a car buying experience that exceeds all expectations.
What To Expect from the Kia Soul
The 2021 Kia Soul is just as spunky and zippy as ever. The newest model is available in the LX, X-Line, S, EX, and GT-Line configurations.
The base engine of this model is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that can churn out 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft worth of torque. This power is directed to the front wheels via a CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission should you desire it.
This engine can also be upped to a 1.6-liter turbo-4 engine that is capable of 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft worth of torque. And for a bit of extra oomph, this beefier model can be fitted with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Safety Features of the Kia Soul
Beyond just performance and configuration options the newest Kia Soul comes with plenty of tech to provide peace of mind for both drivers and passengers.
Should you desire it, you can upgrade the Kia Soul to sport add-ons like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, and lane-keeping assist. With all of these features packed inside, you can get a ride that is safe both inside and out.
